Jacob Samuels grew up in a family business and learned the importance and the value of customer service at a young age. In fact, Jacob believes the client-focused culture at Kelman-Lazarov attracted him to the firm in 2013 when he decided to move on from Samuels Furniture & Interiors.
Jacob focused on Finance as he earned his B.B.A. at the University of Memphis. He applies his knowledge through strategic research for asset allocation decisions, for portfolio construction and for assessments of other financial products. He maintains the company’s trading models and databases. And he produces the regular performance reports, among others.
He is married to Hillary Weiss Samuels, who is an attorney with Harkavy Shainberg Kaplan, and the couple have a rescue dog, Addie. Together, the couple support the Church Health Center and Facing History and Ourselves. Jacob serves on the board of the Memphis Jewish Community Center and as a youth group advisor for BBYO Memphis. They also enjoy golf, cooking and cheering for the Memphis Tigers and Grizzlies basketball teams.Contact Jacob
