Jacob Samuels grew up in a family business and learned the importance and the value of customer service at a young age. In fact, Jacob believes the client-focused culture at Kelman-Lazarov attracted him to the firm in 2013 when he decided to move on from Samuels Furniture & Interiors.

Jacob focused on Finance as he earned his B.B.A. at the University of Memphis and obtained his CFP® certification in 2022. He applies his knowledge through research for asset allocation decisions, portfolio construction, and assessments of other financial products. He oversees the production of performance reports, among other responsibilities. Jacob achieved another milestone in his career when he became a partner at Kelman-Lazarov in 2021.

He is married to Hillary Weiss Samuels, an attorney with Harkavy Shainberg Kaplan, and they have a daughter named Ruby, who brightens their lives. They also share their home with two cherished dogs, Sunny and Addie. Together, the couple supports the Church Health Center and Facing History and Ourselves. Jacob serves on the board of the Memphis Jewish Community Center and enjoys golf, cooking, and passionately cheering for the Memphis Tigers and Grizzlies basketball teams.
